Educators have long identified parent involvement and reading to your child as among the most important steps toward success in school.
In 1996, Dolly Parton launched Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to foster the love of reading in children in her home county in Tennessee. A huge success, Dolly Parton announced in 2000 that she would make Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library available to any community that was willing to partner with her.
