DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES
Developmental milestones are simply skills that most children learn at any given age. It is not necessary that your child learns sit up, walk or talk at exactly the same age as the child next door. Each child learns at his or her own pace. Some children learn to crawl and walk at an early age; others may be able to talk clearly before they walk.
Developmental milestones are there to give parents a guide for what their child will be learning next. If you are concerned about your child’s development, talk to your doctor or health care provider.
