Dad's Page

When you welcome a child into your life nobody hands you a user manual or playbook telling you all the right moves you need to execute to be a good dad.

It takes a lot of hard work and patience to be a good dad.  So don’t just wing it - use the tools and resources available to help you be the best dad you can be.

Check out the web sites listed below for information to help you handle the responsibilities and challenges of fatherhood.

WEB SITE RESOURCES FOR DADS:

Dads play a critical role in the development of their children.  If you’re a dad or soon to be dad, don’t just play Boot Camp for New Dads – for first time dads, taught by dads.

Boot Camp for Dads is offered at Bay Regional Medical Center and is a place where soon-to-be dads and new dads have an outlet in which they can express their fears and frustrations, learn baby care tips from other dads and gain firsthand knowledge about diapering, swaddling and bottle-feeding.

Click here to vsit the National Boot Camp Headquarters for more information.

The National Fatherhood Initiative was created - to ensure that every child has what they need to succeed: the love and support of an involved, responsible and committed father.
